Here Comes the…

October has been kind of a wash, blog-wise. My apologies. I was a little busy. ūüôā

In honor of my recent nuptials, however, I thought I’d devote one last post to wedded bliss. I’ll be back to nursing-related business very soon!

Without further ado, allow me to present Nurse Teeny’s Favorite Things – The Bridal Edition:

1. Favorite Wedding Blog: A Practical Wedding. Kept me sane through 10 months of planning. And consistently reminded me about what was important through it all. The best part? The content is still super relevant and I get to keep reading!

2. Favorite Wedding Planning Website: Etsy.¬†Hands down, we could not have pulled off all the details without the amazingly talented folks who share their artful wares on this site. In a perfect world I would have tried to DIY more. But let’s be real…I don’t work full time and go to school full time in a perfect world. I live in an old New England farmhouse and write books on my wraparound porch. Some of my favorite vendors: Sweet Peas & Seashells, Yin Vivo, The Paper Proposal, My Little Chickadee, and Everlasting Invites.¬†¬†Each did custom work for us and each was a joy to collaborate with!

3. Favorite Fellow 2011 Bride: Lauren at I’m Better in Real Life. Kept me laughing through it all (and continues to do so).

4. Favorite Wedding Detail. Our wedding bands from Brilliant Earth. I was thrilled that they  use only recycled and/or conflict-free materials. And both of our rings are extremely comfortable and unique. Amazing customer service experience as well Рour rings arrived too small and they were wonderful (and speedy) with a FREE re-sizing.

5. Favorite Wedding Website/Invite Company: Glö. Soooo easy to work with!

6. Favorite Stress Relief: Zumba Fitness. Consistently the best way I know how to sweat off the doldrums/nightmares/acute stress reactions. I may not have swagger, but dancing is my joy!

So there you have it. My survival guide to planning weddings in Nurse Teeny’s world. If you have more questions, I’m happy to answer them one-on-one.

Otherwise, let’s get back to the journey!
