Fill the Gaps

The Health Resources and Services Administration is currently accepting applications for its Nursing Scholarship Program. Applications will be accepted through 5 pm EST on May 8.

This program pays your nursing tuition and fees, related costs (books, supplies, uniforms, etc.), plus a monthly stipend. In exchange you agree to work for a Critical Shortage Facility for two years after graduating from nursing school. Pretty sweet deal and it helps fulfill a need. 🙂 You will need to be flexible about location and job options, since the job you acquire will have to meet specific criteria.

Oh and P.S., up to half of the funds are reserved for master’s level Nurse Practitioner students, to help fill the gaps in primary care and mental health! Yay!

For more details, please see the program web page.
